Hi @CristinaAltreche. When the child membership is canceled or expired, the child member can checkout for the parent membership or another membership level that is being offered. The levels offered would depend on how the membership site setup, including whether or not the site allows multiple memberships per user.

Then maybe find a third-party plugin to handle the content submissions and protect that form with a required membership level to show/hide it based on the level.
